Are you looking for the excitement of roller derby
without the bruises? No worries, we have plenty of ways that you can get involved:
We are always looking for volunteers to help out with bouts and volunteers get in for free! Volunteer positions include: ticketing, merch table, snack table, beer garden, security, and we can always use help setting up and tearing down. We are also constantly in need of NSO's (non-skating officials) who are typically in charge of managing the scoreboard, timing in the penalty box, and tracking penalties. If you are NSO'ing make sure you get to the bout venue at 5:00pm at the latest. If you are interested in volunteering at our bouts please contact us at [email protected] or via our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/PortScandalousRollerDerby/?fref=ts (Facebook messages will likely get you a faster response). Make sure you check our bout schedule and join our volunteer page: www.facebook.com/groups/psrdvolunteers/ Become a League Member! Anyone over the age of 16 can become a PSRD League Member by attending two consecutive league meetings. Our league meetings take place the 2nd Tuesday of the month, rotating between Sequim PUD & Port Angeles Elks Club. Please contact us if you plan on attending a league meeting. Once you become a non-skating member you will be required to complete a minimum of five volunteer hours per month and attend a minimum of four meetings per year. You will be able to participate in league decision-making, join committees, or become a board member or officer! |
